We all remember the Muhammad cartoon controversy that lead to countless riots all over the world, including the killing of Christians in Africa, the torching of fast food restaurants, etc. etc. I don't even feel like digging up links, you remember the insanity over a few stupid cartoons, only a couple of which were even offensive. You might also recall that the imams that got everyone worked up, used fake images that they themselves created to incite the Muslim community (as if they need a reason for violence).

Iran launches cartoon exhibition on Holocaust Mon Aug 14 2006 11:40:15 ET

An exhibition of more than 200 cartoons about the Holocaust opened Monday as Iran's response to last year's Muslim outrage over a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad in a Danish newspaper.

The display, showing 204 entries from Iran and abroad, was strongly influenced by the views of Iran's hard-line president, Mahoud Ahmadinejad, who drew widespread condemnation last year for calling the Holocaust a "myth" and saying Israel should be destroyed.

One cartoon by Indonesian Tony Thomdean shows the Statue of Liberty holding a book on the Holocaust in its left hand and giving a Nazi-style salute with the other.

Masoud Shojai, director of the host Caricature House, said a jury looked through 1,200 entries received after the contest was announced in February by the co-sponsor, the Iranian newspaper Hamshahri.

An attack on a Sydney synagogue may have been fueled by anger over the Middle East conflict and the spiraling civilian death toll in Lebanon, a rabbi said Monday.

Rabbi Wernick, who cited religious reasons in declining to give his first name, and his young family were inside a house attached to a synagogue in suburban Parramatta when it was attacked Sunday evening.

Concrete blocks smashed the windows of two cars, and other projectiles were hurled at the synagogue roof. Shortly after the incident, witnesses told police they saw a group of about 10 Middle Eastern men laughing and running down a nearby street.

For months and years we've heard the media, the left, and our European "allies" crowing about the outrageous abuses taking place at the enemy combatant detention center, Guantanamo Bay Prison (GITMO) in Cuba. These claims of abuses have almost always turned out to be completely false or totally blown out of proportion. We all remember when Newsweek ran the false story about a Gitmo guard flushing one of the detainee's Korans down the toilet. Newsweek was eventually forced to make a retraction, but not before over a dozen were killed and many more injured in riots in Afghanistan in reaction to the story.

The majority of other cases of "abuse" turned out to be not much more than humiliation, despite attempts by the media and "human rights" insistence that they are tantamount to torture. Things like making a detainee wear a bra, dance with a man, or act like a dog. How could we treat people with such unspeakable cruelty!? (sarcasm)

Of course there were the 5 famous substantiated cases of "mishandling" of the Koran or the time urine came in contact with the Koran. Of course the media ran wild with these stories and other unsubstantiated allegations, while virtually ignoring all the cases of detainees destroying their own Korans and throwing them in the toilets.

All of these horrific abuses, according to top Senate Democrat Dick Durbin, rose the level of what some of the most evil men the planet has ever see did to their victims. Durbin famously said:

"If I read this to you and did not tell you that it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags or some mad regime — Pol Pot or others — that had no concern for human beings,"

You can't repeat that quote enough, because it shows exactly what the modern Democratic Party is all about. What's sad is that his Dem pals in the House even had to admit that after personally visiting Gitmo, they saw nothing to support the abuse allegations. Of course they treated is as progress, rather than a continuance of how it always was. Other reports have come back showing the same thing - that Gitmo is nothing like it's portrayed in the media.

I suppose Durbin was on solid ground when comparing our military men and women to Nazis though. He must have just gotten the advanced report that the detainees are tortured daily by being fed gourmet Islam compliant meals, cooled with air conditioning, having their own personal bathrooms, and enduring the pain of tasty treats like ice cream and cookies! Man we Americans are evil!

Screw all this reality though, we should probably take the word of human rights activists who put on a play in the UK's House of Commons to show us all what Gitmo is really like. I guess I must have missed their other performances reliving the abuses of Saddam Hussein.

Now after months of bogus liberal media reports, lies of "human rights" groups about abuse/torture that came only from the mouths of detainees, and a court ruling that forced Bush to cave in and give Geneva Convention rights to these people, which is essentially the treatment they got anyway, we learn that the abuse seems to be coming more from the detainees and not directed at them.

It seems that beyond destroying their own Korans, the detainees have violently and/or disgustingly attacked the guards on hundreds of occassions just between Dec. 2002 and July 2005. And of course we all remember the attempted (and thankfully failed) ambush attempt by detainees when one faked a suicide attempt in May of this year. Just what have the detainees been up to you ask? Well...

WASHINGTON - The prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay during the war on terror have attacked their military guards hundreds of times, turning broken toilet parts, utensils, radios and even a bloody lizard tail into makeshift weapons.

Pentagon incident reports reviewed by The Associated Press show Military Police guards are routinely head-butted, spat upon and doused by "cocktails" of feces, urine, vomit and sperm collected in meal cups by the prisoners.

If the rest of this wasn't so disgusting, the attack with a lizard tail is actually pretty funny. All I can think of is the asian guy in Austin Powers who's weapon of choice is to throw is shoe, and when Austin encounters him and says, "Honestly man, who throws a shoe?". "Honestly Jihadi, who stabs with a lizard tail?"

The detainee "reached under the face mask of an IRF (Initial Reaction Force) team member's helmet and scratched his face, attempting to gouge his eyes," states a May 27, 2005, report on an effort to remove a recalcitrant prisoner from his cell.

"The IRF team member received scratches to his face and eye socket area," the report said.

Of course the AP (always fair and balanced, right?) decided to get the other side of the story, and ask a detainee (you know, because we should trust anything they say).

Moazamm Begg, 38, a prisoner for more than two years at Guantanamo before being released to Great Britain, said he was suspicious of the Pentagon's description of incidents, especially allegations that Muslim men tore their Qurans or used sperm in attacks. The Pentagon continues to publicly question Begg's claim of innocence.

"This just doesn't make sense — especially since for Muslims this would be something that was disgusting, something that just wouldn't be done," he said. He added that some detainees told him they had mixed toothpaste and spit in the cocktails to make it look like semen.

Hold on, hold on... I'm trying to take notes on this, because I'm studying for my Islam admissions test... So that I'm clear - Muslims wouldn't throw man juice at prison guards... But they're not averse to flying planes in to buildings to kill thousands of innocent people, straping bombs on themselves and getting on buses to kill women and children, or hiding in civilian populations, mosques and schools? Allah-hu-Akbar!

The reports detail more than 440 incidents between guards and prisoners from December 2002 through summer 2005 that resulted in recommendations of discipline, an average of about three per week. The names of guards and prisoners as well as the final discipline were blacked out by the Pentagon.

Not enough for ya?

"Detainee stabbed the MP guard ... in the hand with his spork from chow meal," the report said, adding the prisoner later "made a slicing motion across his neck" and vowed to kill the guard.

"They'll take the smallest things, be it a piece of rust," he said. "They told us they are going to take that piece of rust and they are going for the jugular, they are going for the eye. They know what our vulnerabilities are, anatomically speaking."

Meal plates, shower flip-flops, cleaning brushes and other items deemed harmless in civilian life also are commonly turned into weapons, the reports said. For instance:

_"Detainee in cell (redacted) grabbed the radio from an MP and then threw the radio at the MP. The detainee then threw rocks at the MP," a Dec. 23, 2003, incident report stated.

_A detainee "reached out of his bean hole and attacked MP (name redacted) with a piece of metal foot pad from toilet striking him on the left hip area," a July 15, 2005, report said.

_"Detainee broke off the top of his sink, subsequently broke out the window then began throwing the sink and pieces of pipes at the Block Guard," a March 25, 2005, report said.

One of the most unusual incidents detailed in the four-inch stack of incident reports occurred when a detainee in the prison recreation yard assaulted a guard with a bloody tail torn from a lizard.

The detainee "caught the iguana by the tail at which time the tail detached," the May 2005 report described. When the guard turned to talk to a commanding officer, "he felt something strike him in the lower right back" and then "saw the tail on the ground at his feet and blood was in the same area of his uniform." The detainee said he was "just playing."

Nicolucci said one of the most serious incidents occurred this May, too recent to be recorded in the Pentagon's released reports. A prisoner staged an apparent suicide attempt while his inmates slicked the floors with human waste, seeking to overpower guards when they slipped, he said.

Nothing to see here mainstream media!!! Ignore these 440 documented incidents, and just keep reporting the handful of "abuses" based on nothing more than detainee testimony. I mean, reporting on what sick bastards these detainees are doesn't make the United States military look bad, and it doesn't stand to hurt the President politcally, so there's really no need to report the REAL story here.

Michelle Malkin, as digusted as I, adds more to the story with a personal letter from a father of one of the female troops serving at Gitmo. Here's just a paragraph (read on an empty stomach):

I just watched you on FOX. My daughter was in Gitmo for a year as a Master-at- Arms, E4. (10/04-10/05) She was injured several times by the inmates assaulting her physically. In addition, she knew that when she was doing her job by enforcing the rules, she was threatened by the prisoners if she had to touch them. They would get her. They mixed a cocktail of urine, feces, and semen, and let it fester for days until the right moment. They warned her that she was a target and then they got her, she was assaulted several times by loads of crap thrown at her.

BUT BUT... BUT the Americans made a detainee bark like a dog! That's the real crime, cant you see!?

How do we fight a war when we have to worry about so much little BS from the left, the media, and our "allies", essentially fighting against us every chance they get? Malkin sums it up:

Do you find yourself muttering "we're screwed" under your breath 10 times a day, too?

Sadly, yes. Can you guys even imagine what would happen to a prisoner in a civilian prison in the United States if they behaved like this?

Miuchelle Malkin has a new post up with all you need to know about this preacher of the religion of peace shooter, right down to his high school year book photo. Not surprisingly, the "history of mental illness" card has already been pulled. Since when is Islam something you can excuse as "mental illness"?

I wouldn't even know where to begin, and would be stepping on the toes of other bloggers if I was to comment on this, sense folks like Michelle Malkin, Allahpundit, and Gateway Pundit have been live blogging this and are so far out ahead, I could never catch up.

The story seems to be changing by the minute, but what I gather is that between 6 and 7 women were shot, one fatally and leaving 3 in critical condiation, at a Jewish Federation building in Seattle by a Pakistani man, apparently because he's angry that Israel is defending itself from terrorists on the other side of the globe.

Again, the story is fluid and nothing is set in stone at this point, but from the numerous reports that you can read quoted on those blogs and the stories they link to, it is quite clear that this is a Muslim who was out to kill Jews.

When I first began reading about this breaking story at Michelle Malkin's blog, my first thought was 'I bet no mainstream media outlet will have the balls to state the obvious, that this guy is a terrorist', and partly through Malkin's post I realize I'm not alone in assuming the worst of our media. Only as she points out, the FBI is just as bad (Seattle Post-Intelligencer):

"We believe ... it's a lone individual acting out his antagonism," said David Gomez, an FBI assistant special agent in charge of counterterrorism in Seattle.

Gutt said the FBI is helping Seattle police assess whether the gunman was a "lone wolf" or part of a wider plan. If evidence of a terrorist plot evolved, the FBI would become the lead agency, but as of Friday night the case remained Seattle's, Gutt said.

Authorities did not release any details about the alleged gunman and would not discuss possible motives.

"There's nothing to indicate that it's terrorism-related," Gomez said. "But we're monitoring the entire situation."

Nothing to indicate it's terrorism-related!? How about the fact that a Pakistani Muslim just shot up a bunch of Jews, and we have this from witnesses:

"He said, 'I am a Muslim American, angry at Israel,' before opening fire on everyone," said Marla Meislin-Dietrich, a database coordinator for the center. "He was randomly shooting at everyone."

Excuse me Gomez, but just wtf is terrorism? Is there a certain death count required? Does it only count if you can confirm that he shouted "Allah-hu-akbar" while committing his acts of violence. Please define "terrorism" to me, I'm on the edge of my seat!

So I get out of the shower and see if Drudge has anything that I missed, and I see a picture of one decent looking chick and another regular chick (see here) above the headline - Supporters of Lebanon protest outside Israeli consulate in NY.... But when I click the headline I'm taken to this Reuters photo in one of Yahoo! News' photo slideshows:

The caption attached to the photo (just in case they decide to change it):

These are supporters of Lebanon? Where is there a sign about Lebanon in that whole lot? One of the signs I see reads:

"ALLAH (swt) WILL DESTROY THE TERRORIST STATE OF ISRAEL"

Below the text is a burning Israeli flag with the Star of David morphed with a swastika. Additionally we can see that the bottom of the sign says "______ Society". We can't make out the words before "society", but I'd be awfully interested to know what society this is.

The other sign we see is worse than the first. It shows a big picture of the White House and in giant black letters simply states:

ISLAM WILL DOMINATE

Excuse me a moment, I have to make a call...

(button pushing noises, followed by ringing)

NSA: Hello, NSA?
Randy: Hey, I just emailed you a link to a photo of some suspicious characters who are walking around NYC (where a large part of 9/11 took place) holding signs of the White House and saying that Islam will dominate. Can you check that out, and keep an eye on these guys? Maybe tap a few phones or at least watch the records, and follow some banking transactions?
NSA: Let me take a look at my email sir... Okay got it!
Randy: You see the picture?
NSA: Yeah... I don't know what we can do about this though... I mean, if we track this guy, the left will sue for racial profiling and attacking free speech... You know, because someone will leak what we're doing.

Okay, that got stupid because I lost my train of thought when I had an actual phone call, but you get my point. First, that Reuters is really a POS for calling these people "supporters of Lebanon", when first of all their signs don't even come close to reflecting that, and second their signs are blatantly and unambigously Islamofacist in nature! Unless Reuters can show me an Arabic translation where "Islam Will Dominate" means "I Support Lebanon", they are again siding with the terrorist point of view. F U Reuters.

Michelle Malkin has updated a post she wrote earlier on the virtual Hezbollah infiltration of America, now adding pictures including the one that is the subject of this post, though she found it at Gateway Pundit.

Gateway Pundit has a handful of other pictures of equally outrageous, yet expected signs. Also thanks to GP, I now know what that "society" I mentioned earlier is - The Islamic Thinkers Society. Looks like covering the insanity over there would require an entirely separate blog, so I'll set that aside for the time being.

Additionally, Michelle Malkin links us to photos from everyone's favorite internet watchdog photographer, "Zombie". Zombie snapped shots at a rally in San Francisco last Thursday, which actually had some people from both sides. Guess which side behaved with civility and respect, and which side acted like a bunch of deranged animals?

My favorite part is when we see a photo of the terrorist sympathizers adjusting their kaffiyeh-masks, using the reflection of a window, are interrupted by a couple of police officers. The masked men try to say that they weren't planning to do anything violent, to which one cop replied:

"Then why are you dressing up like a terrorist like that?"

We are ready to dispatch them to every corner of the world to jeopardize Israel and America's interests. We are only waiting for the supreme leader's green light to take action. If America wants to ignite World War III … we welcome it."

Can you hear me now? Consider that before you brush off the people we see holding these signs as some harmless fringe loons. Loons they may be, but harmless and few in number they are not.

Some low-life lefty blogger TBogg, who I had never heard of, but is apparently pretty popular has spun (what, dishonesty from a liberal?!) my post to act as if it was about me looking for "internets babes", based on my brief joking mention about the two girls in the photo displayed on Drudge. Incase anyone else had trouble interpreting what the post was about, and what the mention of the "chicks" had to do with it, below is the response I added to TBogg's comments:

Hey, way to totally ignore the point of my post genius. Well, what should I expect from liberals who are incapable of honesty.

The part about the chicks was barely a blip/mention that had absolutely nothing to do with the point. The "chicks" part was more for a chuckle as I totally busted Reuters on their lie.

If anyone cares to check out the real post, it has nothing to do with wanting to see chicks and being disappointed when I saw Islamofacists. Only a simple liberal or one deliberately being dishonest (shocking!) would think that.

I clicked the link at Drudge to see what the story was. The link, oddly, was just going to a slideshow of images, rather than an actual story, and for some reason lands you on pic #308, which was odd considering that Drudge used a different image on his page above the link.

Now that I've broken that down for you geniuses, HERE'S THE ACTUAL POINT OF THE POST, IF YOU HAD CHOSEN TO READ IT!

Reuters refers to these men as "supporters of Lebanon". Why? Not one sign in the picture says anything about Lebanon. It doesn't even have the far left/arab talking points "end the occupation"... No, these are Islamofacists who's signs say "Allah Will Destroy the Terrorist State Israel" above a burning Israeli flag with the star of david morphed with a swastika, and the other sign has a photo of the White House and says "Islam Will Dominate"

What the hell does "Islam Will Dominate" and Allah destroying Israel has to do with supporting Lebanon. Reuters wouldn't even have been accurate to simply call them Hezbollah supporters, because in fact they are supporters of Islam dominating the world. NOTHING TO DO WITH LEBANON, ALL TO DO WITH ISLAM TAKING OVER THE PLANET!!!

But enjoy yourself quoting part of a post out of context and treating it like it has anything to do with the true subject of the post. I expect no better of folks on your side of the aisle.

I couldn't care less about some terrorist supporting hos standing on an Israeli flag. They're clearly idiots, and have no clue how they would be treated if they were in their motherland, by the types of people they are demonstrating in support of. The mention of them is, as I said, partly a joke, and mainly about how it was odd that Drudge linked to a separate image in the photo slideshow, when the one he displayed is part of the same slideshow.

The threats being screamed from a "religion of peace" Muslim jihad rally in New York City should be a wake up call to everyone. Of course it won't be, but hopefully watching this video will cause some to stop ignoring this and pretending it's not on their doorstep! Also, consider if these had been Christian protestors. Imagine the media coverage... All the networks would have had cameras there and "Hate Speech" would be the title of segments all over television news, as well as headlines in the following day's papers.

Basically NBC is seeking Muslims to send them to "non-Muslim" events like NASCAR races to film bigotry (that they hope to see) so they can smear America for being a bunch of intollerant Muslim haters. Shocked? No. Outraged? Absolutely.

I have been talking with a producer of the NBC Dateline show and he is in the process of filming a piece on anti-Muslim and anti-Arab discrimination in the USA. They are looking for some Muslim male candidates for their show who would be willing to go to non-Muslim gatherings and see if they attract any
discriminatory comments or actions while being filmed.

They recently taped two turbaned Sikh men attending a football game in Arizona to see how people would treat them. They set them up with hidden microphones and cameras, etc.

They want to do the same thing 2 or 3 other times (in various parts of the USA) with one or two Muslim men in each setting. They are looking for men who actually "look Muslim". They want a guy with no foreign accent whatsoever, a good thick beard, an outgoing personality, and someone willing to wear a kufi/skullcap during the filming.

They also want someone who is fairly well accomplished and has contributed to American society at large in some meaningful way.

That said, I'm urgently looking for someone who can be filmed this April 1st weekend at a Nascar event (and other smaller events) in Virginia. NBC is willing to fly in someone and cover their weekend expenses. The filming would take place all day on Saturday and Sunday.

We already have a hijabi sister who will be filmed there but a Muslim is also needed to join her. I also need candidates for the other filming segments which will take place in the following weeks.

A few weeks later, NBC will fly all the filmed participants to New York City to interview them as a group about their experience and thoughts on discrimination they've faced in America, especially in light of the times we live in (war on terror, 9-11, etc.). The show, if approved by NBC (highly likely), is expected to air sometime this summer.

What I need from interested candidates is an email with an attached clear photograph, a resume, and contact information. I also need basic information such as age, ethnic background, accomplishments, etc.

The sooner I can get this the better and please don't make emails too long. I will then submit a group of candidates to NBC so they can choose the people for the show.

Please forward this to all Muslim lists you can. Because of the upcoming filming in Virginia, this is pretty time-sensitive. My contact information is below.

I wonder if NBC would like to accompany with hidden cameras to a college campus or anti-war rally (like there's a difference), wearing my Vote GOP shirt and see what I get. Actually, they could just attend some abortion rally, or anarchist group rally, and see what sort of hatred anyone opposed to their views receives. It would take a year to list examples, but just think about how conservatives are treated at rallies/marches whenever there are people their from both sides. Dateline's camera's must have been busy those nights.

This is obviously just a humorous post, but when I was looking through cartoon "protest" images, I came across this one that I thought was hilarious because it looked like any major league pitcher, in mid-pitch, that I've ever seen. I have thousands of baseball cards in my closet that look exactly like it... only they don't have a caption explaining that it's a Pakistani man throwing a rock at police. Have a look for yourself...

We've already seen "America's" past time become overwhelmingly Cuban and Dominican (not that I have a problem with that, but it's a fact), but I didn't know Muslims played too! As I said in the title of this post, this could bring an entirely new meaning to the Bronx Bombers.

Maybe I'm just confused.... I mean, I heard that after the Red Sox let Johnny Damon go over to the Yankees, the Yanks made him shave. But perhaps he's changing positions, and coming back as a pitcher they've allowed him to bring back the beard? That doesn't seem likely, so I'll trust Yahoo!'s caption that this is a Pakistan man.

Either way, look out Mariano Rivera, you've got competition....

 

I didn't get around to posting this earlier, but Drudge was linking to this story for a while, that I felt had an odd headline. It is just one of the latest stories, relating to the continued protests (read: violence and terrorism) coming from the Muslim world over....wait for it..... cartoons.

Anyway, Not only does the headline not accurately portray what the Vatican said, I just don't think it would be a great idea anyway. The headine reads:

Yeah, I'm going to have to ask that they don't practice what they preach. We can hear that "religion of peace" line all day long... but when have we ever seen that, seriously?! The last people we want to see practicing what they preach are the "death to everyone who isn't one of us" Muslims. Screw being diplomatic, how about being real here?

That is such crap! First of all, everyone needs to stop calling these demonstrations/protests, because they are almost all riots at the very least, and we should certainly not be misleading people in to believing they are over "cartoons"... Is anyone (other than the American left of course) idiotic enough to believe that these are protests of cartoons!? Anyway, back to the burning Bush effigy. Uh... why? I don't believe President Bush had anything to do with the cartoons, and in fact his administration has (weakly) condemned them. But he certainly had nothing to do with them and didn't support them, so how can Yahoo! or whoever created this caption be so stupid as to say that this is a "burnt effigy of U.S. President George W. Bush during a demonstration against cartoon drawings". Balderdash!!! (I really can't stand that word, and I may not even be using it properly, but it just sort of came to me... apologies if you find that word as annoying as I do.)

The caption goes on to talk about this being a peaceful protest? I'm sorry but nothing about these "protests" has been peaceful from day one, and this is no exception. What makese it peaceful? Were there less than a dozen building burned down or was no one killed? I think when you're burning an effigy of someone, especially when they have nothing to do with what you claim to be outraged over, is anything but peaceful. Notice if you follow the link too, that the top of the photo album area says: "Muslims Offended by Danish Cartoons". Yeah, that's it...

 

I didn't really want to post on the new Abu Ghraib photos because they're nothing but propoganda for terrorists and we all know that already. But I see many other bloggers all had the same thought as I did, immediately when they heard about these "new" Abu Graib photos being released. Why is it the media has no problem airing these, but they won't show, or at best will blur out the stupid Mohammad cartoons?!

We've all seen leaders of various countries out condemning and apologizing for the cartoons which weren't even bad to begin with, unless you count the fake ones that some Imams used to start this whole controversy months after the original publishing of the real cartoons. There have been suspensions and shut downs at media outlets around the world simply for publishing a couple stupid cartoons. But do we ever see this when Christianity or Judaism is insulted? No. And do you know why? Because we are civilized people who don't strike fear in the hearts of the media. Radical Muslims are killing people and destroying cities around the world all because of some stupid and fake cartoons.

But remember Abu Graib? Media outlets were in a race to see who could show the most photos, and particularly who could show the most graphic images without "crossing the line". Remember how the NY Times managed to squeeze out 43 front page stories in 47 days! I'm sure there were more after that, but that's shocking enough I think. Especially when you factor in they never did a frontpage story on beheadings by terrorists.

Far left groups have been pushing for the release of more Abu Graib photos for a long time... Why? To hurt our troops. Period! There is no other reason for the release of these photos, which is why I'm not linking to them. You can find them if you really want to. The story was blown up by the liberal media to harm the war effort in the first place, because that goes back and hurts the President. But those responsible for the abuses were sentenced to jail and dishonorably discharged. But that wasn't enough for the media. They need more violence incited by the images to further their agenda, no matter who it hurts.

So this week we have an Australia television program air the "new" images. Does it further the story in any way? No. Does it stand to get people killed? What do you think!? People were killed over the fake Koran/toilet thing, and over these stupid cartoons and that is all that stands to come from showing these newly released images. Jane Hall looked like an idiot trying to defend this on O'Reilly last night.

So everyone has been asking those same questions about the media's hypocrisy here...

Michelle Malkin is waiting (but I hope not holding her breath) for an answer.. Blackfive has a bunch of photos from Abu Ghraib that you won't see in the MSM either. Why? Oh because they are positive, and don't stand to get troops killed.

But I'd like to take it a step further than Malkin and many others. Why is the media so giddy over new Abu Graib photos, but they have never shown us the photos of people jumping from the WTC buildings on 9/11 (graphic images.) Of course I don't think these should be shown out of respect to those who died, and their families. But the media doesn't seem to concerned about military men and women and their families when they show the pointless Abu Graib photos.

So lets see, you won't show the Muhammad cartoons because that is "incitement" (remember being that the media is a liberal one, they have no concept of "personal responsibility"). I can't stand that "incitement" or "provocation" excuse, but that's what they use to excuse bad behavior all the time. Anyway, why are the Abu Ghraib photos not incitement as well? And 9/11 jumper photos aren't going to incite the Muslim world. And we're civilized so it won't incite us, but might strengthen a weakening resolve.

I don't think I need to go on, you get it, right? The point is the outrage over the cartoons is ridiculous (considering the "bad" ones were fake) and the the media is afraid to print them. Yet they print the REAL Abu Ghraib photos, that stand to only get people killed, with a big smile on their faces. Why? Is your media serving you or the enemy? What does that make them? Another quick example that just popped in my head was the staged/fake photo after we precision bombed in Pakistan a few weeks ago. Of course that is just a tiny example, but it's still fresh in my mind.

Anyway, the lefties would have you ignore the double standard of the MSM and point fingers at us for the double standard. But that's BS. The cartoons were something printed in one paper. Those who chose to print them in the aftermath did so as an exercise in free speech while it's under attack in Europe and of being unafraid of Muslim extremists, and the story was/is ongoing. Abu Ghraib has been dealt with and people have been jailed, and showing these images SERVES NO PURPOSE but to get people killed. If you can explain how they further the story, go right ahead... but you can't because they don't. I'm actually surprised that al-Gore didn't personally deliver the images to his buddies when he was in the region (baselessly) blasting America the other day.
