Today's Vent with Michelle Malkin is a round-up of all things Katrina. I agree with most of Michelle's points, however I still think Brown/FEMA take too much heat for this, because the situation wouldn't have been as unmanagable had there been compitent local and state leadership. Because they refused to issue a mandatory evacuation, and follow their own plans, FEMA was left to clean up an unimaginable mess. Note how Jeb Bush is constantly in front of the cameras and issuing evacuations days before storms approach, and he evacuated the Keys days before the current storm.
