UPDATE: More From Sunday's Illegal Immigrant Protest In Dallas

Before I get in to "National Illegal Alien Day", I had to mention a couple more things we've learned about Sunday's protest in Dallas.

Brian Epps of Random Numbers attended the Dallas event and had his camera slapped out of his hands and kicked down the street, obviously breaking it. Brian, like anyone, was about to confront the thug only to realize he was surrounded by about a half dozen of the thug's buddies, one of whom said "You got a problem, white boy!?" Thankfully Brian stood down and got out of there without a scratch, though we can't say the same about is camera. Read his story here.

Wizbang, Michelle Malkin, and Expose the Left all direct our attention to this photo of a flyer that was passed around at the Dallas event.

Kim Priestap at Wizbang says it best:

The fact that the Dems are recruiting at these protests isn't a surprise. It fits into their big picture of race and politics (which is why the flyer's visual puts Texas and Mexico together). The Democrats classify people based upon race and then work to corner the racial voting collectives. At this point, the white vote is already split down the middle, half voting Democrat, half Republican. The Dems have cornered the black voting collective with over 90% voting Democratic. If Democrats manage to corner the Hispanic vote like they have cornered the black vote, Republicans won't win the White House for a very long time. This is the Democrats' dream, so they are trying very hard to collectivize the Hispanic community by turning the immigration issue into another civil rights issue.

This is very true. I believe deep down, many of the Republicans who are as weak on the immigration issue as the Democrats, really side with the conservative base but are sort of "damned if they do, damned if they don't". I don't think they are actively pandering for the votes the way the Dems are, but I think they realize that if they were to get tough, that could very well cost them elections, so any policy they put in place (or enforce current laws), it will cause them to be voted out, and then the Dems will just reverse any good they might have done. Just like the welfare class always votes for the Dems because they promise to keep those checks rollin' in. You get what I'm saying? I mean yeah, we'd all like to see the Republicans have a spine... But it almost seems pointless.

Of course no one should be surprised by this poster, but it's still shameful. Check out that map of a fused together Mexico and Texas! We already knew Democrats like Hillary Clinton were pushing for the Felon vote, but now they've extended their reach to the illegal immigrant community? You'll see in my next post that Hillary and Ted Kennedy (among others I'm sure) were out actively engaged in these events, go so far as to saying that we should legalize the illegals.

NIce round up of sites and info, good job.

The 'you got a problem white boy' comment made me think about a good active joke here in Germany:You know why Turkish people are the nicest people in the world?Cause they always come up to you with 10 of their friends and want to know if you got a problem.

The map is outrageous. What is more outrageous to me than Hillary or Kennedy are the "conservatives" like our president, Senator McCain, and Senator Specter, who add to the problem. It isn't just that they have no spine; they exacerbate the situation, and get no political credit (as when any Republican tries to espouse what is traditionally a left-wing position). You may enjoy my suggestion towards a solution on my own blog whatisamoderate.blogspot.com

I was a non-Hispanic amateur photographer at the Dallas rally. I was treated with courtesy by the many people I photographed. The big difference between Brian and me is the subjects we photographed. I snapped shots of families and children and passionate hand-drawn signs. Brian was photographing "really cute babes" for posting on a "Protest Babes" website.

What the thugs did who knocked away his camera was wrong. But I can understand why young Mexican-American males would be upset with Brian's actions.

I don't believe he was taking pictures of the "babes" at the point when this happened... and even if he had been, do you think that people marching by in a protest would say or even be able to pick him out of people as someone who was strictly taking pictures of "babes"? I mean, if I was in a march with thousands of people, and saw a guy taking pictures on the side, I don't think I'd be able to tell in the couple seconds that I pass him who he's taking pictures of and who he's not... and if, in passing in those couple seconds, I snapped to a judgement I'd be an even bigger idiot... That is such a ridiculous rationalization and you know it... I know you said "it's wrong", but what's wrong is your premise, that these people would have any clue what Brian was limiting photos to.
