Chronic Fatigue, Genetic Disorder!? Lazy Liberal Rejoice At New Excuse!

When I heard this reported on television earlier, the first thing that jumped in to my mind was, "lazy lawsuit-happy liberals everywhere will be filing suits at companies they were fired from". Of course, liberals will be mad about that and say "it's not only liberals who bring frivilous lawsuits" and "liberals aren't all lazy", etc. But that's not what I'm saying. You know there are a lot of entitlement minded liberals out there who think that everything should be handed to them who heard this reported on headline news on their favorite cable news channel and immediately though "hey, I have an excuse for being a lazy turd... I should sue that company that fired me for not doing my job!"

Now, I don't actually expect to see these lawsuits, because this is in the early studying stages. But if this can be proven, it will be like all the other "diseases" that liberals use for excuses for why they don't have to work or why they can sue someone for discrimination. Hey, I mean, maybe some of them have a conscience and feel bad using "mental health issues" as an excuse, as became popular during the 90s, but if they can say "hey, I was born with a lazy gene, whaddaya gonna do?", they'd have it made in the shade!

April 20, 2006 -- A study published Wednesday shows evidence of the genetic underpinnings of aspects of chronic fatigue syndromechronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), a disorder affecting up to 1 million Americans.

CDC researchers say they've uncovered genetic evidence linking symptoms of the disease -- including fatiguefatigue, chronic pain, and memory problems -- with genetic factors governing how the body handles stressstress.

Specifically, the researchers say they've found evidence that people with CFS symptoms have genetic factors that could alter how those people react to stress from life events, injury, or infections over the course of their lives, potentially giving rise to the disorder's unpleasant symptoms.

The research, which has yet to be replicated, is a first step toward improving diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome or targeting treatments to specific aspects of the disease, the scientists said.
