This isn't "news" because we know the President doesn't bow to polls like most other politicians, especially the Democrats. Remember Kerry taking a poll on how he should react to a Bin Laden tape. Man, I know he's a non-issue anymore, but it's always necessary to remind everyone how close we came to the terrifying reality of him being our President.

Anyway, despite the low poll numbers for President Bush, he hasn't been shaken. Even in the face of the mainstream media trying to create news with lying reports on polls, and lower numbers as a result of tricky polling practices like oversampling of Democrats by just enough so that (insert MSM outlet here) can be the latest to achieve a new "all time low" for the President. Sadly for the Dinosaur Media, we're here to bust them whenever busting is needed. CBS News and the AP are the latest guilty parties (and repeat offenders.) The President just doesn't care, and the left really has trouble grasping that.

I of course would like him to react. We've seen a bump in poll numbers when he simply "fights back" a bit, but he generally tries to take the high road and not get in to all the name calling and bickering. While that would seem like the right move, it's not when you've got such a far left press that hates him. I would like to see him sink to that level and call people out for being liars. Publicly slam the WMD hypocrites. Blast the media for their baseless attacks, especially when they're caught lying. He'll never do it, but it would be great to see him mad and going after these people.

"I know some would like me to change, but you can't be a good decision-maker if you're trying to please people. You've got to stand on what you believe, that's what you've got to do, if you're going to make decisions that are solid and sound," he said.

"Yes, I think people should be allowed to criticize me all they want -- and they do," Bush said to laughter.

"I understand some of the things I've done are unpopular. But that's what comes with the territory. If you're afraid to make decisions and you only worried about, you know, whether or not people in the classroom are going to say nice things about you, you're not leading," he said.

If I were him I would have closed with a prepared rant about all the haters, but I guess that (and that alone) is why I'm not President... What's so funny?
