If you've followed Lieutenant Governor of Maryland and U.S. Senate candidate Michael Steele, you'd be famliar with a series of attacks launched on him by Democrats, some simply because he's a black Republican. The two most notorious of course are the Sambo and Oreo incidents. You also might recall that a couple of Chuck Schumer's staffers got caught dumpser diving and obtaining Steele's credit history illegally. If you wanted to read about it, you had to dumpster dive yourself, and good luck finding any mention of Schumer in the articles.

Well it seems that despite today's news that one of those staffers, Lauren Weiner, will face charges, the media is still not mentioning Chuck Schumer at all in this. They're totally buying in to the Dems' scapegoat act and laying it all on this one woman, who it looks like will only get a slap on the wrist anyway:

Whitney C. Ellerman, an attorney for Weiner, said his client plans to plead guilty to a misdemeanor under an agreement with prosecutors that could result in the charge being dismissed in a year.

Researcher Will Face Charges in Steele Case

"Researcher"? Why not "Schumer Staffer" or at least "Democratic Senatorial Campaign" staffer? You already know why. Because this we're talking about Democrats! The media's little buddies, you know 'em. Now sit back and ponder what this headline would have been had Schumer been a Republican. Anyway, don't expect a lot of media attention for this at all.
