Clinton Accepting Applications For New Intern. Sir Mix Alot Said To Be Screening Potential Interns.

h/t Expose The Left

Okay, so the Sir Mix Alot part isn't true... but believe it or not Clinton is intern shopping and since we all know the man likes a healthy woman, it would seem suiting that he enlist the man who made "I like big butts" famous, no? Word up.

Seriously though, the Clinton Foundation is looking for interns, and at the same time just begging to get teased on late night TV.

I was hesitant to click on the link but I figured I should see what it was all about before posting on it, but for some reason it sent me here. Must be some sort of server glitch/issue?

Okay now that I got my few little digs in, here's what Ian at Expose the Left picked out of the real intern information page:

Upon leaving office, President Clinton established the William J. Clinton Foundation with the dual missions of constructing and endowing the Clinton Presidential Center and Park in Little Rock, Arkansas and continuing the work of his presidency to strengthen the capacity of people in the United States and throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence. The Clinton Foundation advances its mission by using President Clinton’s public and private networks to initiate research, dialogue, and action, and is currently focusing its work in four critical areas:

If you are an undergraduate, graduate or professional student or a recent graduate with your own strong interest in crucial issues of our day, the Clinton Foundation Intern Program offers a unique opportunity for growth, learning and meaningful service. We are looking for people who are dependable, enthusiastic, professional, and intelligent.

Bravo Ian, but in glancing at the page, I noticed a few others...

The New York office is the official office of the Former President and the place where his activities for non-profit and for-profit work are determined and organized.
The intern's semester mirrors that of the school year, with the spring term extending from late January through May, the summer term from June through August, and the fall from September through December. Each location offers intern positions, and is described in more detail below. No matter which branch of the Clinton Foundation you work in, you will experience some similarities between each of the programs:

I'm sure I could go on and on as I see there are links to other Clinton Foundation Intern resources at the bottom of that page, but I have to include this one before I wrap up this post:

Hands-on experience:(<---their emphasis added this time) Interns have the responsibility of interacting directly with staff, volunteers and Foundation stakeholders, in such activities as communications, development, and scheduling. Through firsthand experience you learn how the Clinton Foundation functions on a daily basis, and assist with this process directly.

Oh is that what the kids are calling it these days? Your "foundation" Mr. Clinton? I don't think you need to be showing these young ladies how it functions on a daily basis, nor do they need to assist with the process directly. Don't you ever learn?

Of course this is all immature, but still funny, spin on what is actually said... But come on, "hands-on experience" in bold on a Clinton Foundation Internship page? They wrote the jokes for us!
