Alec Baldwin Is Such An Idiot... "Cheney Is A Terrorist"

Okay, I'm not even going to touch the "what if someone on our side said this, about Kerry, Kennedy, or Gore or someone like that" angle, although I think you can use your imaginations. White House Press Corps. demanding the White House state it's position and that it condemn the comments or face a slew of articles implying he supports the comments. Calls for public apologies, etc. from whoever made the statements. Depending on the job, the lefties would be calling for a firing and possibly hold protests outside the headquarters of an employer.

Anyway, here we have the idiotic Alec Baldin calling Vice President Cheney a terrorist and writing what is probably one of the most pointless pieces of writing I have ever seen. It seems more obvious than ever that he hasn't a clue what is going on, and that this was written just to fill space. There is nothing substantive, and it's just completely insane. I don't like to call someone an "idiot" out of the gates, but what else do you call Baldwin in this situation? It's not a "matter of opinion" sort of thing... Just read it for yourself

So, I suppose the question is...what kind of civil trial will we see, or not see, between Cheney and Whittington? Whittington is certainly no stranger to a court room and to civil litigation. Will Cheney pay him off, preemptively? Will they go to court? I would imagine if a guy with a few beers in him shoots you in the face on a hunting trip, how could you turn down that opportunity?

What would Cheney do about the whole secrecy thing then? I mean, this is the guy that sicced Enron on Gray Davis and the state of California to embarrass Davis, trigger the recall and then watched Arnold Schwarzenegger become governor of California. (To this day, perhaps, still the low point in American political life.) Then Cheney covered it up.

Cheney's the guy who told Libby to out Valerie Plame. The rumor I heard is that someone yelled, "Look out! Shooter!" and Cheney thought he said Scooter and fired in that general direction.

Cheney is a terrorist. He terrorizes our enemies abroad and innocent citizens here at home indiscriminately. Who ever thought Harry Whittington would be the answer to America's prayers. Finally, someone who might get that lying, thieving Cheney into a courtroom to answer some direct questions.

Okay, so even before he calls Cheney a terrorist, he cooks up some law suit that he seems to actually think is a possibility. Yeah from Whittington, a huge Republican supporter who was in good spirits during his statement as he was preparing to be discharged from the hospital today, and even went so far as to (unnecessarily) apologize to Cheney's family for having had to deal with this whole thing.) I just don't even want to how stupid of an piece this is. Where did Baldwin even come up with this? Again, is it obvious to anyone else how he just put this together to fill up a few paragraphs but says nothing. I'm really just almost speechless over how these lefties out stupid themselves everyday.

In closing, one more time, Alec Baldwin is a pathetic idiot.

i think like most right winged people you purposely confuse the issue of the opinion piece, probably because it doesn't support your agenda. also, i noticed that conservatives blur news with opinions.
Anyway, the whole point of this article is to simply address alecs frustration with cheney's allusiveness. his name is constantly involved in scandals and wrongdoings, but he never has to account for them in court. that's the whole purpose of the article.

Okay John X... First off what about that shows Baldwin's frustration? It is the most boring and pointless piece of writing imaginable, and it shows how uninformed he is about the fact that Whittington is a big time Republican, but the title and tone of the whole piece is about whether this guy will take Cheney to court. If Baldwin knew anything he'd know that is ridiculous.

Next, he makes a bunch of cliche liberal "Cheney is the devil" type comments, but that doesn't make them true, and then he goes on to call a sitting VP a terrorist. Fine, then why doesn't that weasel make good on his promise and move to Canada?

Not that I agree with the premise, but to humor you for a moment, when was being "involved in scandals and wrongdoings" a crime? If he commits a crime, then maybe you'll see him in court. Otherwise, stfu. But to take it further you say "his name" was involved, not even that he was. So again, is having your name involved in scandals a crime? Do we really need to make a list of Dems names who are involved in scandals but have never been to court?

Anyway, the fact is all the "scandals" you guys talk about are BS and you know it. It's your DailyBS played out "Cheney is evil" crap and no one cares anymore. You can pout about it all day or you can find candidates who can win an election.

Keep shouting "Culture of Corruption" and hope that through the liberal media's dishonest reporting leading to low Republican poll numbers that you turn out to be the lesser of two evils and win a couple elections. In case you aren't aware that is ALL your party does. They are hoping to win by default, if the Republicans look bad enough.

So again, keep stomping your feet like children and see if that wins you elections. Or get ideas that people care about and will vote for.

Alec Baldwin commenting on ANY political topic is like a cross-eyed baboon commenting on rocket science. The opinions of these liberal Hollywood stars with their inflated egos are so much influenced by heresay and irrational, emotional attacks of the angry left critics, that, when confronted with the facts, all they can do is resort to name calling or turn tail and run, as Baldwin did on the Brian Whitman Show on WABC the other night. I agree with what Mark Levin said about Baldwin probably having a double digit IQ. He's too stupid to even know how ignorant he is. When you enter serious political debate Alec, being a "pretty boy" isn't enough.

I second this last comment regarding Baldwin and all other Hollywood icons having anything to do with leftwing antics oops I mean politics.

Until they run for office and know even just a little of what they're talking about; or until they even have some values to begin with/offer; as well as some valuable experience worth sharing outside of Hollywood that is -- then PLEASE get off your 6 yr soapbox (yeah Bush won AGAIN-get over it)!!! and take the rest of left wing liberal Hollywood with you and move to Canada with Mr. Baldwin. If he ever decides to leave that is . . .I'd be glad to help with that cause. Let me know if the need arises!
